Christmas in July

Christmas in July

Christmas? In July???

Yup. You’ve been thinking about doing boudoir photos for a long time and you want to give the gift of your photos to someone special for Christmas. The best time to do it is NOW. Boudoir photos are not something you can rush, there is a lot of planning to get those gorgeous shots and we need time to plan everything from your wardrobe down to your poses. You’re busy enough during the holidays, you don’t need the added pressure of extra things to worry about.

I only shoot two sessions a week due to my recent health issues (which means there are only 9 dates available in July) because I want to be sure my girls have plenty to time to get their sessions planned, their wardrobe chosen and images ordered for holiday gift giving.

I also need to make sure I have enough time to edit your photos and get them into an album and printed. Getting comfortable with my editing process has been – let’s say interesting – and I want to be sure I have plenty of time to devote to the work I do after your session.

Shooting in July means that you can also get those smoking HOT outdoor shoots or water shoots ** that just aren’t available in November.

We are booking boudoir shoots for July RIGHT NOW. We only book 8-9 sessions per month so that every client gets the personalized experience necessary. We want time to create your tastefully sexy albums and wall art that shows off your best features!

Schedule your session by July 31 and pay only $300.

If you want to have an amazing album or framed photo to present to your love on Christmas morning, you don’t want to wait ‘til the last minute.

Your session fee of $300 covers EVERYTHING below and acts as a non-refundable retainer to reserve your date.

  • Half hour pre-planning session
  • Access to the Studio Closet
  • Up to 5 wardrobe changes
  • Your favorite music playing in the background
  • One hour camera time
  • Step by step pose coaching from Jackee & Pru
  • 10 Magazine quality edited digital images printable up to 5 x 7in images ($200 value)
  • $50 print credit to use toward additional images (albums, wall art, canvas)
  • Up to 60 images to choose your images from**

Professional Hair and Makeup with Pru from Rustic Cuts & Co may be added at an additional charge ($100 value)

What to Wear Wednesday

[su_label type=”important” class=”font-size: 13px; text-align: center;”]Newest additions to the Boudie Closet![/su_label]

Finding outfits for your boudoir session is half the fun but sometimes it is hard to know where to start! Keep in mind these simple tips and recommendations and you will look amazing!

My girls all ask “What should I wear for my boudoir session?” Read on, babies, I have the answer!

I have a pretty healthy Boudie Closet designed to fit girlies of ALL sizes. I am always adding to the Boudie Closet, my jewelry selection and of course, those hot CFM (censored) pumps.

Wisconsin Boudoir Studio

When we set up your session, you can take a look at what I have in-studio or order something to keep from my Boudie Catalogue (coming in January 2019)!

As with all things boudie, there is no one answer to any question. Things to think about:

  • You don’t HAVE to wear lingerie to have a hot photo session – if you don’t feel sexy in something, you won’t look sexy in it!
  • Bring black, white and nude panties in addition to your lingerie/wardrobe
  • Bringing shoes? Save the “safe” shoes for church or that business meeting. If you don’t have killer stilettos, I DO
  • Bring new or lightly worn lingerie (you don’t want those little balls or rips showing up in your images)
  • Try everything on BEFORE packing it in your bag

Ill Be Home for Christmas

… if only in my dreams.

Every year I decorate the same way. Tree goes up a week before (a little late this year). The first to go on are my mom’s old and tattered and lovingly repaired ornaments. I don’t know where or when see got them, but she seemed to like them above all others. There are crocheted wreaths and pompom santas and wire-limbed drummer boys. They are the first brigade.

The second bunch to go up are the ornaments our children have mad or given us over the years, as well as those that were given to them.

The last to go are the ornaments that mean something to me and John and that I’ve collected over the years.

Like that snow? I got no idea how that keeps happening, lol.

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas

I love Christmas couples photography. MsB and her man are one of my favorite couples to photograph; it’s become almost a tradition over the past two years. They come with the change of seasons and we shoot some of the damn cutest couples’ photos ever. This is the first year that we’ve had the opportunity to shoot indoors and it was a damn good thing … it was THREE degrees outside and the sun was shining in full force. The cold sucked the juice right out of my battery – good thing we had my gorgeous new studio to warm up in between shots!
