Now that I’ve cut my hours I have a lot of time to think. If you know me you might think this is dangerous, lol, turns out this time it’s not. I’ve been using my spare time doing things I put off for far too long; one of those things was sorting old sessions on my hard drive and moving them to a different drive if I have permission to use them or deleting them if they’re past the one year save mark. I’m always amazed at all the beautiful women I’ve been lucky enough to work with over the past nine (!) years. I’ve kept a little piece of every one of those sessions in my heart and I just feel like sharing them today!
I’ve also realized when I ask my clients what they like least about themselves, the number one answer I get is “my stomach.” I encourage the women who come to my studio to love themselves for who they are, not what they look like, but I also understand wanting to cover it up. There are any number of reasons why women might want to cover their bellies, but not one of them should keep you from doing a boudoir session. There are TONS of options if wanting to hide your belly! So I’m gonna show you some pretty pieces (and poses) to cover that belly and to show you some of my favorites shots.
Yes, I DO photograph women in their underwear, but it’s SO much more than that. No matter how much of a pep talk women get, they always feel a little vulnerable and unsure — and that’s why I do what I do. It breaks my heart how quickly women forget – or sometimes never learn – that they are beautiful if only they let themselves be.
From the very beginning it’s been my mission to help women SEE their own beauty.
The moment they finally do is different for each client, but when it happens it’s amazing to see. My clients walk into their session nervous and worried and they walk out full of giggles and great memories.
WHAT TO WEAR TO AND HOW TO POSE TO DE-EMPHASIZE YOUR TUM
These are suggestions and of course, I will always be there to walk you through every step of your session.
1. High-Waisted Bottoms, especially detailed lace pieces deflect attention away from your stomach, all while keeping it sensual!
2. Lay on your stomach and pop your booty.
3. Lace Teddies, long-sleeved or strappy pieces elongate the body. Lace is always sexy and feminine.
4. Turn your back to the camera and highlight that booty.
5. A simple white sheet can be draped and dropped to accentuate whatever you want!
6. Stretch out and ARCH THAT BACK!
