existinphotos
What does that even MEAN? In this day of smart phones and iPads and laptop cameras – EVERYBODY exists in photos. It even feels kind of foolish to say:
“Exist in photos …” what the? We take pictures of ourselves EVERY.DAY.
Seriously. EVERY.DAY
But here’s the deal: The people who love you don’t want photos of you looking like a goomer. Your children will want photos of you to show THEIR children – and there are two reasons smartphone photos and Facebook photos aren’t going to cut it.
- 90% of photos on a phone, never come OFF the phone. And the ones that DO aren’t frame-worthy. They aren’t blow up and hang on the wall worthy
- Facebook photos are great (even though they come from smartphones), and TimeHop is a wonderful thing … but are Facebook/TimeHop gonna be around for you to show your six year old what Grandma looked like?
Have you lost a parent or grandparent or loved one? Twice this year I’ve had to deliver photos to a family that lost a loved one unexpectedly … it’s heartbreaking.
It’s important to be in front of the camera. Take those selfies. Have your photos professionally done, even if I don’t do them. You know you spend more money on things that last much less longer than an image that will be come a family heirloom.
